Red Deer stabbing trial hears closing arguments

A Red Deer man charged in an Oriole Park stabbing incident will learn his fate this May following the conclusion of his two-day judge-alone trial in Court of Queen’s Bench on Friday.

Justice Marilyn D. Slawinsky is expected to render her decision on May 3 for 29-year-old Linden Joseph Lee Buffalo, who stands charged with aggravated assault and mischief under $5,000 in the August 6, 2017 incident.

That’s when Mounties attended a residence on Orient Green to investigate complaints of a serious assault.
