A man who crashed his truck into a pizzeria in Red Deer last year has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.
David Amstutz was also given one year’s probation during a sentencing hearing Thursday afternoon in Red Deer provincial court.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty last September to one count of failing to remain at the scene of an accident in which a person was injured.
It was on the night of Feb. 1, 2018 when a truck backed into the front of the West Park restaurant. One female employee was injured.
