Hunting Hills’ Sedgwick named to Football Alberta U18 coaching staff

Hunting Hills Lightning head coach Kyle Sedgwick has been named to Football Alberta’s U18 Coaching Staff for next three years of the Football Canada Cup.
Sedgwick recently guided the Lightning to their seventh league title in nine seasons. He’s been part of the provincial U18 coaching staff since 2013 and has coached with Canada’s U18 squad at the International Bowl in Texas. This time around will be an assistant coach on the Football Alberta U18 staff led by head coach Darcy Park of the Edmonton Wildcats.
The selection process for the U18 squad will start with the annual “SUPERWEEKEND” from January 11-13 in the Foote Field bubble in Edmonton. A group of 40 players will eventually be chosen to represent Alberta at the Football Canada Cup in Kingston, Ontario in July.
