Woman critically injured in crash near Innisfail

Three people were taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash west of Innisfail Friday morning.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. on Highway 54 near the golf course when RCMP say one vehicle – a car – turned into the path of a pickup truck, causing a t-bone collision.
Officials with STARS air ambulance confirm they took a 22-year-old woman to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary in critical condition suffering from traumatic injuries.
Innisfail RCMP confirm a male and female patient were also taken to hospital in Red Deer by ground ambulance but no word at this time as to their ages or places of residence.
