Calgary Police searching for missing 22-year-old Andrew Edy

Oct 14, 2018 | 11:46 AM

Calgary Police are looking for a man who went missing last week from Rockyview General Hospital.

Andrew Edy, 22, was last seen at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 8 south of the hospital.

He was wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans and no shoes.

Edy is described as around 6-feet tall and 170 pounds with curly, shoulder-length dirty blond hair.

Edy’s family is concerned for his well-being.

There have been possible sightings in Calgary’s downtown area, including on a C-train. It is highly likely that he remains in Calgary, though his father says there’s a chance he could be headed for Kelowna.

Search parties have checked places like The Mustard Seed, hoping he’d gone there to get warmer clothing, but to no avail so far.

Anyone with information about Edy’s whereabouts is asked to contact the police non-emergency number, 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
