EDMONTON- The City of Edmonton has decided on how it will regulate the smoking of marijuana in public when it becomes legal next month.
The rules, which will also apply to tobacco, say no one can light up within 10 metres of doorways or windows.
Smoking will be banned on patios, at bus stops, in public vehicles, sports fields, parks with playgrounds, outdoor theatres, outdoor pools, seasonal skating rinks or off-leash areas.
The ban will also apply to city-owned golf courses, bus terminals and L-R-T platforms.
