Airdrie RCMP investigate fatal crash near Crossfield

AIRDRIE- On September 18 at approximately 5:20 p.m., RCMP responded to a two vehicle head-on collision on Highway 2A, south of Crossfield. 

The respective drivers and sole occupants of both vehicles were transported by EMS to Calgary-area hospitals with serious injuries.

One of the drivers, a 23 year old man, later succumbed to his injuries.

Traffic was diverted around the collision scene for several hours while members of the Airdrie RCMP and the RCMP Collision Reconstruction Analyst, investigated the crash.
