Dreeshen addresses energy security for Canada at European assembly
Red Deer – Mountain View MP Earl Dreeshen is back from a trip to Berlin, Germany where he and members of the Parliamentary Assembly met with political leaders from around the world to discuss and confront the global political, economic and human rights issues that countries are facing today.
Part of the Canadian Delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Dreeshen says he was proud to represent Canada and the voice of Red Deer-Mountain View as work continues towards addressing the issues of global trade, border security, terrorism and human rights abuses.
“There is so much uncertainty in the world, especially in regards to our economic and political security,” says Dreeshen. “Being at the OSCE assembly was a great chance for me to work with teams from around the world to come up with ideas and solutions. Conservatives understand the importance of combating terrorism, stopping human trafficking and in supporting freedom of religion for everyone.”
Among the topics Dreeshen is said to have addressed publicly at the Assembly, was energy security and what that means for Canada, including the threat to our energy security by special interests who wish to do Canada’s economy harm.
