An Alberta Mountie has been placed on administrative duty after being charged with impaired driving.
Cst. Andrea Bole is a member with the Viking RCMP detachment.
It was last Thursday when Mounties in Killam were called to the town’s swimming pool for a report that Bole, who was off-duty at the time, had driven to the facility in an intoxicated state.
As a result of the initial investigation, there was sufficient grounds to believe that Cst. Bole had been driving and that she had been drinking.
