Temporary closure on CPR Bridge this week

RED DEER- The CPR Pedestrian Bridge is scheduled to close for a few days starting Tuesday, June 26 while soil testing is completed.

Contractors will be doing geotechnical work, drilling in multiple locations near the bridge to collect and test soil samples, which will inform the design for future Bridge upgrades.

The bridge will be closed for the duration of the work, which is tentatively scheduled to run from Tuesday, June 26 to Thursday, June 28.

The schedule is based on a number of factors and could be subject to change.
