Bullet holes discovered at Kentwood home in north Red Deer
Red Deer RCMP are investigating after a resident in Kentwood found bullet holes on the outside of his garage.
Police say the resident on Kennings Crescent heard what sounded like two loud gunshots at about 11 p.m. the night of June 23. He then found the holes on the exterior of his house, on either side of the garage.
Two shell casings were recovered at the scene, according to RCMP. There was minor damage to the garage, and no one was injured.
rdnewsNOW spoke with the homeowner, who wishes to remain anonymous, but says the incident should act as a lesson for citizens to be aware of their surroundings and to always report suspicious or illegal activity.
