A GoFundMe page set up for Lethbridge Hurricanes forward Ryan Vandervlis, who was injured in a campfire incident less than two weeks ago, has raised more than $34,000 in about 24 hours.
The page, called “Rally for Ryan,” is attributed to Friends of Ryan Vandervlis, on behalf of his parents Rene and Barb Vandervlis. It was created Sunday to help with the costs of his recovery.
