Fire destroys two Edmonton homes

EDMONTON- A fire has destroyed two city homes and damaged a third.

Some area residents say they heard an explosion before flames broke out at a southeast duplex around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters say the building was engulfed by the time crews arrived and flames were spreading to a nearby home.

There are no reports of injuries and the fire was under control by 12:30 this morning.
