Winning $2M lotto ticket sold in Alberta

There’s a new lottery millionaire in Alberta.

A ticket sold in the province won the $2 million Western 649 jackpot on the Saturday, May 12 draw.

Officials say the winning ticket was sold somewhere in the province – but not in either Edmonton or Calgary.

The winning numbers were 4, 8, 10, 19, 37 and 45.

The winner or winners of the prize have a year from the draw date to claim it. B

There are more big jackpots on the way, WCLC officials add. Wednesday’s LOTTO 6/49 jackpot is an estimated $22 million. Friday’s LOTTO MAX jackpot is $60 million, plus an estimated 29 MAXMILLIONS prizes of $1 million each.
