Town cannabis legalization survey up and running

Drayton Valley Town Council has released its cannabis legalization survey, in hopes of getting feedback from residents on retail sales and use of pot in town.

The 12 question survey will ask participants their age group, where they live along with with their thoughts on consumption and sales of marijuana in Drayton Valley. 

The survey will be open to the public until May 18.

Neighbouring Brazeau County did a similar survey earlier this year, which ran from March 9 to April 19. Information from that survey is expected to be presented to county council later this month.

Legalization of marijuana was orginally pegged for July 1, however that has been pushed back to a timeline of late August to early September.
