Blackfalds hosting Humboldt Broncos memorial service

BLACKFALDS- A memorial service will be held in the Blackfalds Multiplex tomorrow night (Friday) from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to show support for those who were killed and injured in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash last Friday.

All organizations are invited to attend with their teams and groups together in their jerseys, club colours, group uniform, green or yellow, whatever that looks like, in a show of solidarity of the hockey world as well as other teams, clubs, troupes and community organizations.

The service is a way for the community to come together to show support for all those who were touched by the tragic event and to be there for those in the community who may have been affected by this in one way or another.

There will be a minute silence at 7.15 p.m. with some words from the President of the Blackfalds Hockey Association as well.
