Loh latest to enter UCP race in Innisfail-Sylvan Lake
A seventh candidate is throwing his hat into the ring to be the United Conservative Party candidate for the upcoming by-election in the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake constituency.
Joel Loh is the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Public Relations at Simba Industries Transload Ltd., an Alberta-based oil company specializing in the rail transport of crude oil. He’s also worked as an Operations Terminal Auditor, auditing various LPG and LNG facilities, and served as the Rail Terminal Manager at the Bowden Refinery.
Loh is also a founding member of the Committee for Proud Alberta Fair Trade Oil, billed as an online Facebook community promoting the Alberta oil and gas industry.
Formerly a resident of Calgary, Loh served as president of the Canadian Alliance association in the Calgary-Southwest riding in the early 2000s.
