Third vehicle and bike crash prompts reminder from RCMP
Red Deer RCMP have issued a reminder to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians after a third collision in five days involving a vehicle and a bike.
On Thursday morning (Sept. 7), a teenage boy was sent to hospital after he was hit in the crosswalk at Ross Street and Davison Drive.
Around 4 p.m. on Friday, another vehicle versus bike collision occurred just a block away at Ross Street and 30 Avenue. In this case, the rider had left by the time RCMP arrived on scene.
Just after 9 a.m. Monday, a 66-year-old man was struck and suffered minor injuries at 48 Avenue and 55 Street.
