Wigmore resigns from Blackfalds town council

There’s an open seat at the Blackfalds town council table. 

Dean Wigmore, who was elected to council in 2010, has resigned his seat.

Wigmore and his family recently moved outside of town limits, leaving him ineligible to continue serving on council.

His seat will remain vacant ahead of the upcoming municipal election on October 16.
