CALGARY- A woman who spent time in prison for killing a Calgary teenager 10 years ago is heading back behind bars for a savage assault on a woman.

Natalie Pasqua has been given 15 months in jail after pleading guilty in last year’s attack.

Pasqua was sentenced to more than five years in prison for the death of 17-year-old Gage Prevost, who was pushed into the path of a light-rail transit train during an argument over a drug deal on a station platform in 2007.

The 36-year-old woman was originally convicted of second-degree murder, but the Alberta Court of Appeal overturned that decision and ordered a new trial in 2009.
