Sylvan Lake man killed in motorcycle crash northeast of Edmonton

LITTLE SMOKY- A man from Sylvan Lake is dead following a crash involving a motorcycle northeast of Edmonton.

Emergency crews from Valleyview and Fox Creek RCMP were called to a motorcycle crash on Highway 43 on Saturday at around 7:30 p.m.

The crash occured just outside the hamlet of Little Smoky.

The 56-year-old Sylvan Lake man was travelling northbound when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with the bridge over the Little Smoky River.
