Prisoner arrested, again, after fleeing from Red Deer hospital
A suspect’s attempted run toward freedom was short-lived on Saturday.
It was at about 9:30 a.m. that Red Deer RCMP first arrested an adult male on outstanding warrants.
Mounties took the man to Red Deer Regional Hospital for treatment of an injury he’d suffered prior to being booked into custody.
After receiving a medical examination, the suspect was being escorted outside by an RCMP member when he took off running. A short foot pursuit ensued and the male suspect was arrested without incident.
