The Red Deer Regional Catholic Education Foundation hosted a student showcase event called Spotlight on March 16, 2017 at the new St. Joseph High School, which opens this September 2017. The evening included student entertainment, art displays, school tours and a silent auction.

The event raised over $40,000, which will be put towards student scholarships, faith-based projects, and initiatives at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.

“We would like to thank all our volunteers, staff and performers for making this event possible. We would also like to thank our sponsors and attendees for their contributions to Catholic education in our schools,” said Kim Pasula, Chair of the Red Deer Regional Catholic Education Foundation.

“This money will be used to fund school and Division projects, as well as scholarships for students.”
