Red Deer’s Polar Plunge raises thousands for Special Olympians

Nine Red Deerians braved icy cold water and frigid temperatures on Saturday to help raise over $4,200 for Special Olympics Alberta. It was the first ever Polar Plunge held in Red Deer, joining Lethbridge, Edmonton, Calgary and Medicine Hat in raising money for the cause.
