Lacombe looking for input on Kinsmen Aquatic Centre

May 10, 2017 | 7:45 AM

LACOMBE- The City of Lacombe is working with a consulting firm to identify ways to continue to improve the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre.

“We are evaluating the centre to optimize space, service levels, efficiency of operations, safety of citizens and mechanical infrastructure,” says Recreation and Culture Manager

Sandi Stewart.

“As part of this review, we invite the public to fill out a survey and/or take part in a focusgroup to discuss ways to continue to improve the aquatic centre.”

Lacombe and area residents can share their ideas and get involved by answering a few short survey questions at www.lacombe.ca/poolsurvey.

Hard copies of the survey are available at the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre or at City Hall.

The survey closes on May 26.

Focus groups are scheduled on Friday, May 19, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex.

If you are interested in attending a focus group, please sign up at http://doodle.com/poll/zxidgihrzs3frkrw.

Please note that registration is on a “first come, first serve” basis.

The consultants will also be at the Lacombe Farmers’ Market on May 19, promoting the survey and gathering public feedback.
