Red Deer College receives 10 awards for excellence in marketing

RED DEER- RDC has been recognized for its excellence in marketing.

The Marketing & Communications department received five gold medals, three silver and two bronze at the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 7 Medallion Awards.

“We are very honoured to be chosen by our peers to receive such outstanding recognition,” says Joyce Fox, Marketing & Communications Director at Red Deer College. “Receiving these awards truly speaks to the expertise that RDC has and we feel very fortunate that we get to use these talents to showcase the vast array of programs and services that RDC offers.”

The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges in District 7.

The area includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory.

This is the only regional competition of its kind that honours excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.

The 2017 Awards were presented recently at the annual conference in Bend, Oregon.

From the 238 entries received from 27 participating schools, RDC received the following awards:
