William “Willy”, “Bill” Christopher Young of Strathmore, formerly of Alix, passed away in his sleep on October 9, 2017 at the age of 31 years. Willy is survived by his parents Chris Young and Susan Young; sister Kristeena (Mitchell) Bastine; nephews Christian, Steven, Dustin, and Patrick; grandmothers Eva Young and Joyce Rogers as well as numerous other family members and friends. Willy will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will be…. “Forever Young”. Willy was predeceased by his brother Douglas Young in 2010. A funeral service for Willy will be held in the Alix Community Hall, Alix, AB on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 202, 5913 – 50 Ave, Red Deer AB T4N 4C4.
