Wanda Margaret Bickley

Wanda Margaret Bickley (nee: Scott), age 93, of Red Deer County, died June 2, 2026 at Harmony Care Center in Red Deer.
She was born on December 29, 1932 to Lindy Isaac Scott and Edna Evelyn Scott (nee: Gentry) in Red Deer.
Wanda attended schools in Ridgewood District and Red Deer. She grew up on her family’s farm and later joined her husband on their farm, also in Ridgewood District.
She married Delbert John Bickley on March 23, 1953 and they had three children, Wendy Joanne, Edwin John, and Joseph Chris.
Wanda was a dedicated farm wife and mother. She owned several horses and rode in equestrian gymkhana events throughout central Alberta. She was a long-time active member of the Ridgewood community.
Wanda is survived by her children: Wendy, Edwin (Michelle), Joseph, grandchildren: Bradley (Jennifer), Emmett (Renee), great-grandchild Nora, brother Raymond Scott (Uharada) and brother-in-law Neal.
She is preceded in death by her husband Delbert, her parents Lindy and Edna, brother Danny Scott, valued friends Stan and Evelyn Cressey, sister-in-law Dorothy, and daughter-in-law Beverly Cruikshank.
A celebration of Wanda’s life and legacy will be held at 1:00 pm on July 11 at the Ridgewood Community Hall.
