It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Vilay Souksamlane. Vilay passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the age of 83. The family would like to thank Dr. Julie Kromm, Dr. Collette Flegal and all the staff on Unit 33 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital for their support and care of Mom. Vilay will be forever remembered and sadly missed by her loving family. Left to mourn are her brother: Tom Kimson and family; her sister: Eng Khanla and family; her children: Jean, Raymond, Amanda, Chanthy, Sean, Manny, Crystal and Pam; her son-in-laws: Paul, Bang and Sonny; her daughter-in-law: Olivia; her Grandchildren: Jason, John, Richard, Allen, Brendan, Ryan, Allison and Matthew; her granddaughter-in-laws: Jennifer and Jaclyn; her great grandchildren: Isabelle and Eleanore; as well as her relatives and their families overseas.
