It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tyler James Thomas Nugent on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the age of 25 years. Tyler was born on September 14, 1992 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He was raised in Central Alberta and Saskatchewan, and was currently residing in Red Deer, Alberta. Tyler made many friends wherever he went, and he had a great many talents for a young man of his age. He was a mechanic, a carpenter and an artist. Tyler loved the outdoors; snowboarding was his favourite in the winter, while camping and paintball with his friends and family were some of his favourite summertime activities. He always put others before himself. Everyone that truly knew him, knew what kind of person he was. Tyler will be lovingly missed by his mother, Kelly Smith; father, Tony (Dannielle) Nugent; brothers, Tyson Nugent, Tanner Smith and Matthew Reppnack; and sisters, Amanda Burgess and Addison and Alaynna Nugent. He will also be deeply missed by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Anita Nugent; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from both sides; as well as countless friends and extended family. Tyler was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Louise Smith. A Celebration of Tyler’s Life will be held at The Kurt Browning Arena, 5103 – 48 Avenue, Caroline, Alberta on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Ms. Shelly Norris offciating.
