Travis will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Mike and Renee; his brother, Duncan; grandparents: Blois and Diane Fleming, Lucas and Susan Hummel; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Travis loved the outdoors and hanging with friends. He enjoyed dirt biking, street biking, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and camping. He loved travelling, taking many trips through out Canada, the United States, Mexico and most recently to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Everywhere he went, he would strike up a conversation with strangers and they would become instant friends. He would at the drop of a hat, help everyone no matter what, or change his schedule so he could experience as much as possible in his life. Travis’ love for music included playing guitar and listening to all genre’s, especially country music, and attended many concerts and festivals.
He started his work life with paper delivery, then on to Boston Pizza, then lifeguarding and finally found his calling as an equipment technician with the City of Red Deer and currently with Brandt Tractor. His passion was running a service truck as a field technician the past two years. The more hours he could work, the happier he would be.
Travis was always active and would try everything he could. He played baseball, basketball, rec hockey, curling and did competitive swimming for 9 years. He truly loved to work out at the gym, completing a Mud Hero and many Spartan Races in Alberta, BC, Ontario and Montana.
