He was voracious with his studies and went to the University of Alberta with honours at the age of 16. However, the life of a student wasn’t suited for Tim.
He soon realized he was born to be a businessman and he spent the rest of his life pouring his heart and soul into many businesses over the years in both the United States and Canada. The Bow Valley Motel, Lost Sock Laundromats and Run’n On Empty were his largest business ventures and a source of great pride.
His passions varied widely from spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends, to boating, playing hockey, golfing, tackling crossword puzzles, and staying up to date on current events, sporting the latest fashions and drinking good wine.
Most importantly, Tim loved spending as much time as he could, sharing his days and nights with his soul mate and best friend Wendy. She was the love of his life and together they enjoyed both travelling and an interest in real estate.
He will be lovingly remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his kind and gentle heart and his larger-than-life personality. Tim’s lighthearted personality and desire for fun and loving relationships played out in his businesses, as well as his vast social circle.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the team of Doctors and Nurses at the Red Deer Regional Hospital for their wonderful care of Tim.
