Teresa was born on February 11, 1926 in Burlington Iowa. She passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 94 in Lacombe, Alberta. Teresa was the fifth child of Joseph and Mollie Eversman. In 1945, she was married to her first love Donald Valentine Graham. Together they had 14 children. One of her greatest accomplishment is that she leaves behind 89 Grandchildren and counting.
Teresa was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald and 4 greatly missed children Susan, Wayne, Rick, and Sandy. She was also predeceased by 2 grandchildren Mat and Teryck. Teresa will be dearly missed by her surviving children Betty, Donald, Bob, Doug, Barbara, Mary, Gerald, Mike, Marty and Ted, their spouses, children and grandchildren.
Teresa lived on the family farm for over sixty years before having to move, because of health reasons, to Cameron Manor. She spent the last few years in Lacombe Seniors Lodge and then Royal Oaks Lacombe. The family appreciates all they did to keep her comfortable.
She had a passion for above all her family. Teresa was the most unselfish person and would do almost anything for her kids and grandkids. A laugh I will never forget. A stern voice that made you tuck your tail. While living on the family farm she loved to care for her Sheltie dogs (Dolly, Kammie and many others) and her sheep. Teresa also loved working in her yard and garden. She always rooted for the underdog and any team I (Marty) didn’t hope for, which explains why she liked the Bluejays. Teresa liked to play cards and scrabble. She was very competitive at scrabble but in most games she was happy to lose so someone else could win. She also loved to garage sale, as this enabled her to spoil her grandchildren.
Teresa will be in all our memories and prayers for years to come but rest assured that she will now join her husband and children in her final resting place. A funeral and celebration of life will take place at the St. Stephens Catholic church in Lacombe as soon as we are able to gather again.
