It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tammy Campkin, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. Tammy was born on February 4, 1970, in Edmonton, AB. She was blessed by not only getting to have 1 but 2 families that loved her dearly. Her predeceased adopted mother Sandra Williams (Joe Williams) and predeceased adopted father Douglas Campkin and biological mother Myrtle Ward. She passed away on March 10, 2024, in Calgary, AB.
Tammy was a free-spirited individual who faced many challenges in life but one thing that always stuck was that her kindness and generosity knew no bounds.
She is survived by her five daughters, numerous foster children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will always cherish the memories they shared with her over the years.
A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at Eventide Funeral Home, 45 Street, Red Deer, AB, Canada, on March 23, 2024. In lieu of donations, the family requests that donations be made to the Shine a Light Campaign at CUPS Calgary, a place that was near and dear to Tammy’s heart.
Tammy’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all those she touched. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved and cherished by many.
