Kocher, Sylvia Ann Noreen

December 22, 1927 – October 11, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Kocher, our loving and wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.  She leaves to mourn her children; Sandra Nugent (Pat), John (Anneli), Peter (Terry), Mark, and Lori; grandchildren; Rick Crozier, Zina Lawson (Alex), Kye (Laura-Leigh), Michael (Kate), Benjamin (Jill), Anna Beazer (Ben); 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Ron Law (Diane) and Don Law, sister-in-law, Joan Law, brother-in-law, Don Hill and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lyle and daughter, Susan Crozier, as well as sisters, Genevieve Commentucie and Esther Hill; and brothers, Cecil and Ken Law.

She enjoyed curling, volunteering at the Moose Cottage at RDRH, swimming, walking, square dancing and especially baking.

She will always be remembered for her generosity, kindness and cinnamon buns.

The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare, Michener Hill for the wonderful care our mother received.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to send the donation to the Sunnybrook Farm Museum or to a charity of your choice.
