It is with great sadness we announce on Sunday, September 12, 2021 Susan I Lonsberry with her family by her side was suddenly taken from us. Susan was born on November 21, 1953 the middle daughter of James (Bud) & Sheila Calverley in Nanaimo, BC. Sister to Lynn Cakebread (Al) and Kathy Croll (Ray) of BC. She married Linden Lloyd Lonsberry on December 19th,1977. They had 4 children; Samantha Delaney (George), Sabrina Ann Lonsberry, Patricia Bryce (Rob) and Amanda McEwen (Hughy); and were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild: Devon Medwid, Crystal Denis, Meagan Bryce, Katie Bryce, John Bryce, Makayla McEwen, Logan McEwen, Cali-Lynn McEwen (Peanut) and Lillian Denis. Susan was predeceased by William & Agnes Calverley (Grandparents), Alexander & Carolyn Skinner (Grandparents), Sheila Calverley (Mother) and James (Bud) Calverley (Father). Susan was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star prior to moving to Alberta. After moving to Alberta Susan was a dedicated Nana who devoted her time to her children, grandchildren, Sparkie (Susan & Lindens dog) who brought her special joy and companionship and caring for her yard. We will forever have a piece missing from our hearts. We love you to Pluto and back. We are very grateful to the ICU unit of the Red Deer hospital for the wonderful care received while in there. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Red Deer Women’s Shelter.
