Sherry Ann Albrecht (nee Rogers)

ALBRECHT, Sherry Ann – after a brave but brief battle with cancer Sherry passed away peacefully at the age of 56 surrounded by loved ones. She was a kind, caring and compassionate person who enriched the lives of all those who were lucky enough to know her. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Harold Albrecht, her children Steve (Jessica) Albrecht and Stephanie (Aaron) Schaff, grandchildren Anson, Isla and Rylee. Sherry was born in Calgary, Alberta on October 26, 1961 to Ray and Addlin Rogers, sibling to Brenda Rogers, Michele (Bill) Alexander and Grant (Bernadeen) Rogers. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, Auntie, as well as friend to everyone who met her. She dedicated many years to working with persons with disabilities at Catholic Social Services.
Sherry’s Celebration of Life will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4802 45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday February 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Radisson Hotel, 6500 67th Street, Red Deer, Alberta at 3:30 p.m. Sherry will be laid to rest at her happy place in the spring time. In lieu of flowers, donations to Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital or Catholic Social Services’ Sign of Hope would be appreciated.
