In loving memory of Sharon Gail Finkenhagen from Dewberry, AB, who passed away on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at the Red Deer Hospice Society in Alberta, at the age of 78.
Born on May 2, 1945 to parents Louise and Vernon Goldsmith in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, Sharons warm heart and kind soul endeared her to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sharon is survived, remembered and dearly missed by:
Sons Larry (Jennifer), Danny and Andy (Katy)
Siblings David, and Reginald (Sheila)
Mother-in-law Lillian Finkenhagen
Grandchildren Cayley, Jordan, Katelynne, Megan and Kenzington, Cody (Samantha) and Hailey, Jenelle, and her first great-grandchild, Declan.
She leaves behind lifelong friends Deb and Dianne, along with numerous other beloved friends and family members.
Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Allan Finkenhagen, as well as her mother Louise, father Vernon and
brothers Ben and Allen.
Sharon’s remarkable legacy includes her immense heart and boundless kindness, a person who was always willing to go the extra mile for her loved ones. Her passions for painting and animals brought her immense joy and enriched the lives of those around her.
Honouring Sharon’s wishes, her cremation has taken place and no formal service has been held.
The family kindly requests donations be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society in Sharon’s memory, to continue her legacy of compassion and support.
