SCHEPER, Jitske Anna (Jenny) nee Postma

Jenny entered the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by all her children on November 12, 2018 at the age of 79.
Jenny is survived by her children: Harry (Elizabeth), Louis (Stella), Annette, and William (Helen). Her grand children: Samantha, Phyllip, Nathan, Erik, Shelby, Owen, Harrison, and Grayson. She is also survived by: her loving sister Diana Ludwig. Nieces: Anita (Leo) Blais, Lynne (Brian) Worden, Brandi (Mike) Pierik, Syta (Philip) Tuinenga, Sjoukje (Otto) van Dijk. Nephews: Harry (Denise) Ludwig, Leo (Patricia) Ludwig, Johan (Carina) Schonenburg. Numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Jenny was born in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. She was the youngest of three children who immigrated to Canada with her family after the second world war. Eventually, they settled in Red Deer as their new home. Jenny met and married her husband, Jake, in Red Deer and they continued to reside there for their whole lives. Jenny worked in the medical field as a nurse. Her caring spirit was a perfect match for her occupation. Music was an essential part of Jenny’s life. Her home was always filled with the orchestral sounds of Andre Rieu, classical music, and hymnal music. Jenny was also a “Plant Whisperer”. She had a gentle floral touch that transformed any plant into a showcase fit for the finest garden. Her home was always welcoming to family and friends with a pot of coffee and home made baking ready to serve. Her love of travelling took her to many places around the world. Her favourite spot to travel to was the mountains with her family. Jenny had a beautiful smile that never faded. She loved to laugh, and her family ensured she was well supplied with jokes.
Jenny was predeceased by: her husband Jacob (Jake) Scheper, Her parents: Lubbert and Antje Postma, Her brother: Daniel Postma, Brother in law: John Ludwig, Sisters in law: Grietje Bakker, Jannie Buist, Dorothy Postma,Niece: Ann Ludwig,Nephew: Harm Jan Scheper
