It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Walter Bailey. He is survived by his Mother Carol, Father David and Brother Nickolas and was predeceased by his twin Brother Steven.

Sam persevered through a challenging childhood being born 3 months premature and weighing only 2 pounds. Sam was a fighter, graduating high school, working two jobs and travelling with his family to many international locations, despite his objections.

Sam will be remembered for his love of cats, his knowledge of old movies and movie trivia, and for his direct way of communicating. You always knew where you stood with Sam. Sam also loved video games and spent countless hours playing. When summer hit Sam eagerly rode his e-bike across town looking for food trucks and fast-food restaurants. He also enjoyed quadding with the family, provided you did not touch his quad.

A service will be held on Saturday August 1st, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Eventide Funeral Home located at 4820 45 St, Red Deer, Alberta.

The family would like to extend its thanks to all the medical professionals who helped Sam through the years and would also like to thank everyone for their kind words and support.
