In 1991 Canada Packers closed in Red Deer and after working for Cheryl at home for a week he started working at Shur-gain which later became Masterfeeds. He retired from there in 2006. The following years were filled with grandchildren, Their three oldest boys played hockey and Bob never missed a game. He loved watching his boys – it was his greatest joy at the time. He also spent time watching Branden playing baseball for two or three summers.
On Oct 8, 2016 Cheryl and Bob celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and all the family went on the Stettler Train, another good memory.
