It is with heartfelt sadness we announce, our mother Jean Balfour left us on January 25, 2023 at the age of 95 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children; Reg (Susan), Cheryl, Dwayne (Dianne) and Dean Balfour; five Grandchildren, Jaret, Matthew (Amy), Jordan (Meghan), Kylie (Chad) and Cody (Ashley); as well as five great grandchildren, Zachary, Krew, Carter, Kage and her only granddaughter Lily. All of her grandchildren and great grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. Jean will also be remembered by her sisters; Agatha, Loretta, Eleanor and Lorraine; sisters-in-law Joyce and Marguerite. She was predeceased by her husband Ira Balfour; parents Martin and Regina Pernitsky, and grandson Keenan at 1 month old).
She was also predeceased by her three brothers; Leo, Eugene and Ben Pernitsky.
