– The song has ended but the melody will play forever –
Encompassed lovingly by her children, family, and friends, Peggy Rose Casey passed away on September 29, 2020 at the age of 55 years. Peggy was born at Innisfail AB in 1965, the only daughter of Linda and Frank. She was the ever-present protective sister to Randy, Michael, and Marcel. After a few moves with family to various cities across Canada, Peggy settled in Red Deer where she finished raising her children Curtis, Zoe, and Quiana. Peggy’s love for her family was evident in her immense pride at becoming a Nana. Her heart called her to work bravely and with compassion in service to persons with disabilities. A role she cherished and transcended, making friendships and memories along the way. Peggy’s infectious laughter, genuine care, and love of life will be missed by all that know and love her. A service will be held in the new year for family and friends once the social gathering restrictions due to Covid 19 permit. Peggy is survived by her son Curtis, daughters Zoe and Quiana, and their perspective families; granddaughter Peyton; brothers Michael and Marcel, and their perspective families. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can kindly be made to the Central Alberta Humane Society, 4505 – 77 St., Red Deer AB T4P 2J1 or to The Ronald McDonald House, (Central Alberta), 5002 – 39 St., Red Deer AB T4N 2P2. Condolences to Peggy’s family may be emailed to meaningful@telus.net.
