1921-2021

 

 

On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Pauline Margaret (Eversman) Olson of Red Deer, AB, formerly of Lacombe, AB, passed away quietly at the Covenant Care Villa Marie, Red Deer, AB, at the age of 100 years.  The family would like to acknowledge the staff on the second floor for their care during her three years living there.

 

She was born in Des Moines County, Iowa, the fourth child born to Joseph Eversman and Mollie (Groeltz) Eversman.

 

On July 4, 1946, she married Willam Oscar Olson.  They had four daughters: Patricia (Glenn) Bridge, Shirley (Don) Anderson, Janet Olson-Tuttle and Loretta (Daryl) Deardoff.  Pauline had twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.

 

Besides her husband Bill, she was predeceased in death by her parents, one son-in-law, Alan Tuttle, one grandson, Wade Bridge, two sisters, Francis Hacker and Teresa Graham, brothers, Louis Eversman and Bill Eversman, two sister-in-laws, Molly Jones and Agnes DeZutter and one brother-in-law, Ted Olson.

 

As sorrowful as her family is at her passing, we are grateful that we were blessed with her presence for so many years.  She was a true gem and will be missed by us and her many friends.

A funeral mass will take place at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Lacombe on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 1:30pm.

 

Due to the Covid restrictions attendance is limited to family members.
