Paul Robert Fulcher, peacefully passed away on June 18, 2021 at Villa Marie Covenant Care, Red Deer, Alberta, at the age of 78.  Paul was the beloved husband of Yeon-Ja Fulcher for over 30 years.  He will be lovingly remembered by his children Jeremy; Paul, Todd, Janice, Mark and his many grandchildren.

He is survived by siblings Jill Fulcher, Janet Love (Clare), Maureen O’Neill, and Bill Fulcher (Betty); His in-laws in South Korea, Yeon-Og Seo (Jong-Ha Park), Soon-Og Seo, Hun-Sik Seo (Sun-Hee Choi), Hee-Sik Seo (Hyang-Sook Kim); and his many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Russell and Esther Fulcher; sister Diane Fulcher, brother John (Jack) Fulcher; his in-laws; Betty Fulcher, Larry O’Neill, and Estelle Fulcher.

Paul worked for DuPont/Nova Chemicals for over 51 years, retiring in 2015. He has traveled around the world with his work and came home with various interesting gifts and funny stories.  He will be missed by his friends and former colleagues in many countries.

He loved hockey, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs—he was hoping to see the Stanley Cup back in Toronto again.

The family is sincerely grateful for the staff at Villa Marie Covenant Care for their wonderful and compassionate care over the last 5 years. They would like to thank all the staff at the Stroke Unit, the Palliative Care Unit, the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and Emergency at Red Deer Regional Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Sarnia, Ontario at a later date with friends and family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
