Patricia Jean (Homan) Braun

December 23, 1943 – April 7, 2023

Peacefully on April 7, 2023, Patricia passed away surrounded by her family.

Patricia is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary; her children Tracy (Michael), Jennifer (Darren), and David; grandchildren Jesse (Andrea), Jordyn, Brodie, Devon (Kayleen), Hailey (Trevor) and Camryn, and great-granddaughter Luna; her brother Doug (Ruth) and her sister Laurie; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Elsie Homan, her parents-in-law Ted and Francis Braun, her sisters Ardith and Lea Anne, and her brother-in-law James.

Patricia was born in Victoria, British Columbia on December 23, 1943. She was raised in Edmonton, where she met and married her husband, Gary. They raised their three children, Tracy, Jennifer and David in Rocky Mountain House and in 1989 they moved to Red Deer. Pat enjoyed reading, walking at Three Mile Bend, camping with family and friends, and traveling the world.

Patricia’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Red Deer Hospice for the extraordinary care she received in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, her family kindly requests donations to be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society, 99 Arnott Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 3S6.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Patricia on April 28, 2023, at 2:00pm at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820-45th street, Red Deer, Alberta.
