Neil Edwin Krewda of Red Deer, Alberta passed away suddenly at the Royal Alexandra Hospital on December 16, 2017 at the young age of 55 years old. Neil was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan to Edwin and Elizabeth (nee Kish) Krewda on August 17,1962. Neil was a man whom worked hard for everything he had and never took anything for granted. He always strived to be the very best at everything he did and took pride not only in his work but his family. Neil always put the ones he loved first, he was a man of dignity and always followed through with everything he did in life. In his earlier years he enjoyed the martial arts and competed nationally bringing home medals that he was so very proud of as he became the national champion, Neil also had a strong passion for music he not only loved to play his guitar and sing with his family and friends he loved to write and record his own music in which he had placed one of his original songs in a music competition and came in first place it was titled “Got To Tell You Something”. Neil worked for Kleyssen’s Transports before coming to Alberta and then, later found himself working for Fletcher’s Fine Foods that later on was taken over by Olymel where he continued to work very hard to move up within the company. Neil started out as line worker moving his way up the chain to a human resource coordinator position in which he took so much pride in and he enjoyed the wonderful team and friends he worked with. He also met the love of his life at Olymel, Patricia Goodsell where it became a love story that will never end and will always be with her in her heart and memories, filled with true love, kindness and most of all devotion. Neil was taken away to soon as the lord felt he was needed for another journey, but for his family and friends the time the lord gave us was a beautiful gift that we will all remember and we are all grateful to have had. He had two beautiful children from a previous marriage, his princess, Kristen and his big hearted boy, David and if that wasn’t enough he took on two more beautiful children with Patricia, Jessie and Taylor in which he helped to shape into thoughtful and kind young men. Neil loved all four of his children more than life itself and has left memories behind for them that they can always be proud of because that is who he was, he loved to laugh and sometimes he would laugh so hard with them he would cry it was wonderful to see. It wasn’t only his children he laughed like this with, he loved to joke around like that with everyone he loved and he touched all of us with his laughter, his siblings, his wife, his friends and even strangers. Neil’s little princess Kristen then brought more joy to his life when she had his grandson Kyle, he flashed the pictures around of Kyle saying he got his good looks from Kristen that she inherited from him and then would laugh. Neil will be leaving behind his loving wife Patricia, his children David (Pam), Kristen (Paul), Jessie and Taylor, his grandson Kyle, his loving and caring mother Elizabeth, his very loving sisters, Audrey, Lorraine, Ivy (Rick Kovacs) and his hero as he always said his younger brother, Max (Lisa); his mother in law Ruth; sister in laws, Gloria (Wayne), Betty (Gary),Candy, Rachel(Karl), Penny; brother in laws, Gordie, Danny (Lisa) and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Edwin Malcolm Krewda at the age of 79 on February 16, 2014. May you both be together in heaven smiling down singing and playing your music together for all to hear. Until we all meet again take care of each other and know you were loved to the moon and back. Many hugs and kisses from earth to heaven and may your star shine bright. There will be a viewing for family and friends Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm at the Parkland Funeral Home coffee and tea will be served.
