Muriel Elizabeth Dodd

Muriel passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025 in Red Deer, AB. She was born in Lacombe, AB on February 23, 1925. She recently celebrated her 100^th birthday surrounded by her family.

Muriel was predeceased but her husband Robert (Bob) in January 2008 and her son Douglas in May 2016. She is survived by her sons, Allen (Terri) of Red Deer, Barri (Annette) of Calgary and daughter Wendy (Tom) of Calgary, 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Muriel and Bob farmed in the Joffre district for many years and eventually moved to Red Deer. She loved curling, golfing, dancing, playing cards and camping with family and friends. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Royal Purple.

The family would like to thank the staff at Villa Marie, Long Term Care Unit 2 for the wonderful care she received from them.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
