It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Kelly Ann Davick of Blackfalds, Alberta, surrounded by her beloved husband and children, after a two and a half year battle with cancer, at the Red Deer Hospice on Friday, June 5, 2020 at the age of 52 years. Kelly dedicated her life to those she loved. Her passion for life and nature will be remembered through her love of photography. From the smallest beetle in her garden, to the highest of the Rocky Mountains; where she was truly happy, they were all captured in her beautiful images. Kelly was an eight year veteran with the Blackfalds Fire Department, rising to the position of Fire Prevention Coordinator. Those that met her only had to mention needing assistance and she would spring into action, lending a helping hand or phoning around for a solution. Kelly was a true friend to anyone in need. Her ready smile and laugh will be missed around the campfire. Kelly will be lovingly missed by her beloved husband, Ted Davick; her three sons, Michael of Edmonton, Tim of Halifax and Sterlyng of St. Albert; her two daughters, Kiera of Blackfalds and Kristin of Calgary. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Chris Barrett and her sister, Dianna Coffin, both of Edmonton. Kelly was predeceased by her mother, Grace Barrett. A Private Family Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held at Preacher’s Point in Clearwater County, Alberta. If desired, Memorial Donations in Kelly’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Cancer Centre, 3942 – 50A, Avenue,Red Deer, Alberta,T4N 4E7.Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com
