Mr. Timothy Ray Tames

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Timothy Ray Tames at home in Innisfail April 4, 2018 at the age of 59 years.
Born in Coronach, Saskatchewan, Tim was a son of the late Helen (Hainer) and Wilfred Tames. Tim farmed and ranched in Big Beaver on the family farm until 1989. He then moved to Alberta, where he started his career with Alberta Transportation for approximately 30 years, but his heart always belonged to the country life. Never did a Sunday go by without his Nascar race and there could be no interruptions.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn (Davenport) Tames; his beloved daughters, Priscilla (Kyle) Keates; granddaughter Adelita; Jennifer Tames (Eugene); granddaughter Layne, grandson Grayson; brothers, Milt (Linda) Tames, Grande Prairie, Alberta; Ricky Tames, Saskatchewan; sisters Marlene (Fred) Meston, Bengough, Saskatchewan; Penny Pilsner, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; niece Tammy Tames (daughter of the late Gerald Tames), Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Tim was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Tames and brother-in-law, Lou Pilsner.
A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, Innisfail, Alberta on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. ) In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to SPCA or Diabetes Canada Foundation.
